Night Of The Living Broadcast Flag

Alright. This is my first post in quite a while (I've been taking a sabbatical, thank you) and it's not really what I wanted to talk about. I've got a huge post which I am slowly editing that I thought would be a great first post back, but there is something more immediately important right now. The Broadcast Flag: it's baaaaaaaaack. 20 Congressional fools have decided to sign their names to a document that demands the broadcast flag be pushed through. Seriously, this needs to die. The RIAA is already starting to get shit thrown in it's face, with Tanya Andersen counter-suing them for Electronic Trespassing, numerous violations of The Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, Invasion of Privacy, violation of The Oregon Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act, and Fraud. [Link] It's time for the MPAA to get the hint that throat-throttling regulation of content will not be accepted by consumers.
