Katrina

I'm back. I'm angry about what's happened to those poor people in New Orleans. Now, however, is not the time for acrimony. There will be plenty of time for that later (and don't worry, I'm plenty pissed.) For those of you that can help, please do. I'm donating blood tomorrow (if they'll have me) and keep watching this site for a Deuce fund-raising gig for the Katrina victims.

If you wish to donate, I recommend America's Second Harvest [Link] first, as they are out of Chicago, and 98% of the funds collected go towards relief programs. [Give.org Report] The Red Cross [Link] would be next, as 91% of donations go to relief programs. (Frankly, however, I'm not impressed with their handling of money from 9/11 and the Tsunami. But, that being said..)
